BITTERSWEET ESCAPE : SINGAPORE

Actually I didn’t plan at all to travel to Singapore alone. All was last minute plan. I was thinking to escape for a weekend holiday. After a hectic week of working. All happen in the blink of eye. I just prepared one night before I travel. I didn’t book for a hotel neither a flight ticket. No. Nothing at all. In the morning I wake up a bit late. Around 9 am if I’m not mistaken. And I take a shower. I didn’t had a breakfast and just laying on the bed while surfing internet. But then I remember. I wanna go to Singapore.Lol. Long time ago I promised to bring my sister along. But, since she was busy with her exam so I didn’t tell her anything lol. No one know where I’m going. Like missing in action. So I just take my backpack and just bring my passport and a piece of cloth only..Ya only one shirt and undergarment thing that I bring along lol.Since I didn’t had my breakfast yet I just drink a glass of milk and I started my journey. 

I was alone in my house. I didn’t remember where my housemates going. Since it was weekend I didn’t bother any of them lol. So, I locked my door room and went out.I don’t know why it’s so hard to find a taxi here. I need to walk about 1 km to wait for a bus to go to Melaka Sentral. 1 km mean nothing to me lol. Since I saw the bus already pass my place I was bit pissed off. Yeah. I saw the bus make the u turn 100 meter away from me.My place was the last stop.  So I went to nearby hawker stall to buy something to change my money and buy something to eat. It was funny when I saw the second bus coming but I didn’t stop it. Maybe I was dreaming. Never mind. Lucky me lol. 5 minutes later another bus coming. But this one bit old. I just laugh. Two times I missed the bus lol. How silly it was. About 20 minutes I arrived in Melaka Sentral. Actually, I just been here for two months.I just  staying in Melaka for my industrial training a.k.a internship :p First thing cross my mind, I should buy a bus ticket to Woodland. Today. Or else I will go home. Lucky there’s a lot of seat available for me lol. I bought one way ticket to Woodland. Yeah mind me. Just one way ticket. That time I was like maybe I will go back by train,flight or anything. So then I got the ticket and I rush to Money Changer. I also filled the white paper while I had my breakfast. Playing games and anything while waiting for my bus lol.

We depart around 2.30 pm. The bus was really empty. Only me and and another chinese girl sitted in front of me. And of course the driver. Only three of us lol. Maybe around 6 passengers already stop in Johor. So only 3 of us crossing the border checkpoint. After 2 times checking the passport, first time in Malaysian border, and second time with Singapore immigration finally I arrived. Bit meh lol. It was already dark when I arrived. But the bus didn’t drop me in Woodland. So pissed off.. Oh my.. So I cross the road and went to the nearest bus stop. Yeah I had no idea which bus I should take. But you know Singapore. Everything was well organized. No need to worry if you get lost. So I just take the shuttle bus, which I forgot already the number and went to Woodland. There was like a flea market when I arrived that time. I forgot to snap the pictures. But I like KL sentral more lol. So, since my mind still planning where to go that night i won’t  mind just looking around the flea market or maybe a night market, whatever it is lol.There’s a lot of food and fruit. But I didn’t interested that much. I didn’t remember what I bought lol..Still recall it since it was two months ago. And I just blogged it now lol. Around 10 o’clock I took the bus again and just seeing the city night view. The thing you will do when travel is just explore the place, people and their culture.

Then, I only stop when the bus go back to the station. I was in the bus for two hours just for seeing the city lol.Even I realised the bus will stop their service soon.So I went back to the station where their MRT and other bus hub operated. I went to their MCD and surfing internet till 4 am. Yeah I am such an owl. So that’s how I didn’t really need a hotel to sleep. That time there’s still a lot of people inside the MCD. None of them interupt me lol. 4 am and yes  my eyes still didn’t feel sleepy. Yeah noted I sleep a lot in the bus before arrive lol. I guess around 5 am I packed my laptop and went to their lavaratory to clean myself. After that I went down and that time I take the first bus operated to Changi Airport. Yeah first bus operated around 5.20 am. That time I feel sleepy and sleep almost one hour in the bus lol. So when I arrive in the airport I realized how short and unorganized my trip was. So, I made a decision again, I take the bus and went to Marina Bay again lol. Yeah just 10 minutes in the airport and I went back to the city. How silly it was, but I can’t tell how much I like an unorganized me lol. I sleep again in the bus. Maybe I already tour the Marina Bay two times in my dream. So now I had enough sleep lol. I feel so frustated when my Canon camera was not working. Really frustated. I don’t know why it turn to blurry everytime I wanna snap a picture..Ergh.But somehow I manage to take a few videos. That time there’s also a tourist bus stop in front of me. Maybe from Hong Kong or Taiwan. There’s a lot of people jogging that time. But I’m not interested lol.. Just like in KLCC park in the morning. Lot of people jogging and take the fresh air. I just went around and snap pictures using my phone camera. Still frustated with the camera. I adjust the settings again and again. Spoil my mood lol. So I just took the pictures using 360 Camera Ultimate app.

I was there for a few hours and take a shuttle bus to Sentosa Resort World. I don’t have any intention to go there at first place lol. So I stop there and just went to the Mall beside the Resort World. That time I realized I still didn’t had my breakfast yet. Last time I didn’t consider it as a breakfast lol. I had my breakfast in MCD again. Yeah I know it was bored but I can’t figured out what else to eat lol. There’s a lot of people from Johor that time. Maybe a college student just went for a day trip to Singapore. I guess lol. I just window shopping. And you know how clumsy I am. Accidently drop my favourite sunglasses into the toilet bowl. Of course I can’t take it back lol. I just went outside and see the Resort World from far. I will go there next trip with my sister. It’s not fun at all if I go there alone for sure. Still recall what I did after that.

Oh I remember. I need to go home. Yeah tomorrow I’m working. Next time I should plan it nicely. But nobody knows how crazy I am. Unorganized thing will have a bitter sweet experience. More adventure. Yeah fancy thing didn’t suit me very well lol. So back to the story, I took a bus again but not straight to Woodland. I didn’t remember the station name but I took 2 bus to Woodland and another bus to Johor to cross the border check point again. It was bit hectic but I loved it. Went back to Malaysia and from Johor I headed to Melaka Sentral again. Yeah I did the same thing to go home again. Bit tired and walking a lot make me satisfied lol. Arrived home, clean myself and covered back my sleep lol. Okay I can’t believe I wrote this long.I guess I should end it now  :p
